Sharks At The Beach

Annual Pitch Event: May 28th 5:30pm-8:30pm

The Shark’s program ends with a Shark Tank styled pitch event where entrepreneurs present their business ideas to an expert panel of judges for an opportunity to win seed capital.

Join us this year at Emerald City Bible Fellowship on May 28th. We will start off with a reception at 5:30pm with some light refreshment. The pitches will start at 6:00pm. Come support local entrepreneurs and vote for your favorite pitch.

Meet the Judges

Tiffiany Fritchman is a Business Access Advisor at US Bank and helps in underserved communities to get access to wealth through business ownership. She has worked at U.S. Bank for 17 years and started her career at our First Hill Branch. She learned a lot about the financial needs of the community and the importance of educating both the clients in the Branch but also being out in the community doing financial literacy seminars to fill knowledge gaps in credit, banking, and other financial myths. Now, she works 1 on 1 with small business owners to understand where they are in their business and where they want to be. She helps to build their confidence, get access to the skills they need to run a thriving business, and know how to access capital in our Seattle ecosystem.

Molly Moon Neitzel started Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream in 2008, with the desire to create a vibrant and welcoming community gathering place for all Seattleites to share and enjoy delicious ice cream. Molly built her business to embody her political values and has advocated for progressive business practices and worker rights on the local, state, and national levels. She has dedicated herself to building a company that's a leader in labor practices, including being a pay transparent company. With eight shops in the Seattle area, Molly Moon's is has been featured in various food publications including Food & Wine & Bon Appetit for making and scooping some of the nation's most delectable ice cream, all with the objective of making the world better one scoop at a time.

Paris King is a Community Branch Manager at Verity Credit Union who advocates for systemic change and builds trusted relationships in the community. She’s worked at Verity Credit Union for 8 years and is currently working out of the Auburn location and looking to support the underserved communities along with local small businesses and organizations. Throughout her journey she continues to look for ways to break barriers and help families find financial freedom and build generational wealth.
